Western Digital External Hard Drive Manual
Anyone had experience of this problem with WD My Passport Essential? Urgent?
I brought my Western Digital My Passport Essential 320 GB yesterday. This morning, I plugged my external hard drive for my laptop, then unlocked with the password yet, I atonishment home page said nothing. He could not regconise my camera, backup "and" recover "button is disabled. I even tried to open my files from my computer but it says: "ACESS DENIED" What is the problem? I called the technical support team, but the line is closed for the weekend, I am in urgent need of storing files on my hard drive. Any advice or solution? (Note: the online manual and repair service on the web page WD does not provide all the information I needed. ) Thanks for your feedback!
I can make some simple suggestions. First, check your cable. Make sure the connections are good at each end. I suppose you did this to verify the cable with another device. He could be the cable. You can find it easily (I hope). Both ours. Make sure the external drive is energized. Other than try a blog search for computer or your problem as a player search. I hope you can understand.
