I watched NBC's "Who do you think you are" and saw a video effect that I would more. The upper layers removed while exposing more layers underneath. What This effect called in the animation industry? And how it is done (eg a picture of a guy standing in front of the tree, you separate image type in "layer" and "tree" layer. How can you explain more of the tree)? Would appreciate any help, Thank you! Just found it is also called "3D Pan & Scan".
