Is it OK to use a diode laser 808 nm with a 780 nm lens module?
Is it safe to do so, and what affect performance laser?
It will not affect the laser performance. I would check the specifications index glass lens to see if there is a chromatic change you may not anticipate or execute a form of ray tracing with the design code of the target. A difference in length 22 nm wavelength is not a big problem.
