Glasses Goggles
Tips for buying ski goggles and snowboard
Some skiers and snowboarders prefer sunglasses, but most seem to opt for eyeglasses. Since my eyes tend to water abundance in the cold wind, eye glasses are my choice for all but a rare degree 70 days of spring where I'll wear a pair of sunglasses wrap. Protection against snow, sun, wind and foreign objects such as branches are few reasons why I prefer glasses.
Some points to consider when shopping for glasses.
Lighting
glasses are available in a variety of colors and these colors tend to help increase the contrast function light conditions. Is this your favorite mountain generally sunny all day or the sun does not emerge quickly on top of the mountain, creating light and flat field being indistinguishable? Usually brightly colored lenses (red, pink, orange, yellow) tend to fight against flat conditions light, making it easier to read the terrain, when the light is low. Dark colored lenses (blue, gray, green) tend to filter the sunlight, so that your eyes are more comfortable in sunny conditions. If you are likely to ski or ride in a variety of lighting conditions, many manufacturers of sunglasses to goggles with interchangeable lenses, so you can adjust the color of your goal for the conditions. Additional lenses are often sold separately.
No Fog Fit & Good
If you are sensitive goggles fog then you'll want to consider glasses with lots of mouths well-spaced and double lenses. Many lenses have an anti-fog finish applied to them by the manufacturer that discourages condensation. The key to avoid condensation is to keep the inside of the lens free of any moisture whatsoever.
The glasses should fit snugly over the face, which will help keep the elements of your eyes and keep the inside of dried lentils. The goggle frame is usually surrounded by foam to ensure the comfort of your face. For many skiers and snowboarders are now wearing the helmet, it is always wise to check that the glasses you are considering will fit snuggly against your helmet to your forehead. I can go away for a day unpleasant with the potential for frostbite. The strap of the mask must be of sufficient length to cover the helmet without the goggles helmets too tight on his face. Many have a mechanism at the rear to keep the mask strap to the helmet.
If you wear glasses
There are a number of manufacturers that do more-glasses-glasses (OTG), which allow skiers and snowboarders eye's ability to wear glasses under goggles. Glasses tend to be wider and deeper to accommodate glasses. Over-glasses-glasses are a great option to keep a vision corrected, but to protect your eyes from the elements at the same time.
