How to connect a digital optical cable?
I bought a digital optical cable from Radio Shack and connected between My cable box and receiver, but every time I move the TV stand change optical audio cable and loses or breaks. The cable is supposed initiate? Should I buy a more expensive cable (Monster)? I tried to force a bit, but I do not want to break something. Suggestions?
it there is only one way and it fits in it clicks there should be a groove at the top of the cable for her appearance and match with the slot on your receiver and it should work. Please do not force it because the optical cables are very delicate. You not need to buy an optical cable more expensive than I monster THX optical cable and they dont sound better than the length of the fiber cable plant optics. With digital cables doesent matter of quality as the signal becomes much either there or it doesent. Now, with analog cables thats where you want expensive cables because quality counts then.
